Medicinal Cannabis
A natural Botanical-Based Solution
For over 1000 years, cannabis has been used as a traditional plant therapy for medicinal purposes. Medicinal Cannabis, also known as medical marijuana, works by interacting with the endocannabinoid system in the body to alleviate symptoms associated with various conditions.

While the regulation and legality of cannabis has evolved over time, there is a growing acceptance of its use in mainstream healthcare. In fact, research around the benefits of medical cannabis is expanding, further cementing its place as a viable medical treatment option.

We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality medical cannabis products to meet their unique needs.

What is Medicinal Cannabis
The cannabis plant contains a wealth of chemical compounds, including up to 545 different compounds and 114 different cannabinoids. Many of these cannabinoids have been shown to interact with the body's cannabinoid receptors.

The two most widely studied cannabinoids are THC and CBD. THC is the most abundant cannabinoid in the cannabis plant and is known for its therapeutic benefits as well as its intoxicating effects. CBD, on the other hand, is non-intoxicating, non-addictive, and less potent than THC, with low toxicity.

Different cannabis formulations contain varying ratios of THC to CBD, which provide different therapeutic effects and interact differently with each person's endocannabinoid system and biochemistry. By carefully selecting the appropriate ratio, patients can enjoy the benefits of medical cannabis with minimal side effects.
Endocannabinoid System
Studies have shown, that CBD and THC interact with human cell receptors and act like a lock and key. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system, which affects physiological processes such as pain modulation, memory, appetite, anti-inflammatory responses, and immune system function. The endocannabinoid system includes two types of receptors, CB1 and CB2, that have distinct functions in promoting overall health and well-being.

THC & CBD
CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are two of the most well-known and studied cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Despite being derived from the same plant, they have different effects on the body and interact with different receptors.
